What is ADAS?

Most modern cars are equipped with Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS).

This system is a group of electronic components, such as cameras and sensors, which assist drivers in a myriad of ways during a vehicle’s operation, such as parking, hazard avoidance, limiting and maintaining a constant speed. In 2022 it became mandatory for a minimum of eleven ADAS to be fitted on all new cars manufactured, so demand for calibration and programming of these complex systems is growing fast.

Our team of technicians are highly qualified, having received training from the manufacturers of the equipment we use, and have also received IMI ADAS training. Our managing director and founder, Iain Molloy, previously worked for one of the industry’s leading ADAS Equipment manufacturers.

All the calibration work that A1 ADAS Solutions carries out is done so to Thatchams Insurance Industry Requirements (IIR) and follows the manufacturer’s methods. The work carried out is then backed up by a certificate of successful calibration so you can rest assured your vehicle’s safety systems are working as the car manufacturer intended.

We are leaders in our specialist field and any work carried out on these vital safety systems will be done so by people who really do know what they are doing. And don’t forget we come to you meaning no expensive and/or lengthy transportation costs.
